Alejandra was having difficulty passing the reading and math sections of the state standards Oregon Assessment of Knowledge and Skills exam (OAKS) required to earn her high school diploma. She needed 8 credits to graduate high school and had a young child at home to support.
Workforce Solution
She learned about the National Career Readiness Certificate (NCRC) through her high school when they hosted an NCRC event. Alejandra passed the NCRC assessment and is on track to graduate in 2016.
Outcomes & Benefits
Alejandra plans to leverage her diploma and NCRC certificate to advance in her current workplace.
