Workforce Challenge

Mrs. G is a woman in her sixties whose husband died one year earlier. She was referred to Hub Cities WorkSource Center for job search assistance from the Title V, Adult Worker Program in order to pay for the room she rents from a friend. She does not have a High School diploma and her last job as the primary caregiver for her husband was about a year ago.

Workforce Solution

At Hub Cities Mrs. G received assistance in transitioning to employment, as well as job leads to pursue, case management, and supportive services.

Outcomes & Benefits

She was hired by the County of Los Angeles’ Title V Program and she is very happy that she is now able to support herself financially.
