Meet Brianna

Workforce Challenge

Brianna enrolled into Workforce Investment Act (WIA) Youth Succeed Program the start of her junior year of high school. Brianna's goal was to graduate on-time, but always feared math classes because she felt she wasn't good at it and that she was too far behind. In her 2nd semester of her senior year, Brianna was told that she wasn't going to have all her credits needed to graduate in May 2015.

Workforce Solution

Brianna worked so hard to pass her classes. She had to complete recovery credit classes and WIA Youth Succeed was able to assist in paying for these classes. WIA Youth Succeed also provided Brianna a math tutor and the transportation assistance she received helped Brianna get to school everyday.

Outcomes & Benefits

After several months of working hard and completing all her credit requirements, Brianna graduated from high school in May 2015. Brianna is looking to enrolling at Front Range Community College in Fall 2015.
