Meet Reed Group

Workforce Challenge

The Reed Group is a rapidly growing company in Jefferson County providing software solutions and customer support. They needed to rapidly scale their hiring to meet the increased demand for their services. A representative from the American Job Center (AJC) visited Reed Group to discuss ways to help support the company's hiring efforts. The company has been recruiting for a variety of full-time positions with great benefits.

Workforce Solution

Reed Group partnered with the AJC to create a series of hiring events designed to increase visibility with job seekers. The events took place at the Reed Group office in Westminster. The AJC promoted the events through its communication network. At the event, AJC staff was on site to direct job seekers to the appropriate Reed Group staff for interviews.

Outcomes & Benefits

Because of the partnership with the AJC, Reed Group was able to generate interest in its open positions amongst job seekers who they had not previously reached. Between the two events, Reed Group was able to individually interview over 170 people. Over 30 people have been hired has a result of these events for full-time, benefited positions.
