Meet William

Workforce Challenge

William struggled with emotional and learning disabilities which have prevented him from being successful in previous social settings. He struggled with daily interactions and communicating with other individuals. William also had a difficult time with following instructions and having various tasks.

Workforce Solution

William enrolled in the WIOA youth program in April 2015 to receive assistance with gaining work readiness skills and support with completing his high school diploma.

Outcomes & Benefits

William obtained his high school diploma from Weld Central High School. When placed at a previous worksite and struggling with his daily tasks William received coaching from his SWAP counselor and was placed with Chartwell's Food Service as a work experience. After receiving additional individual training, William was hired by Chartwell's Food Service on August 26th, 2016.
