Banissia was a displaced homemaker and single mother of two, and was stuggling to find the money to pay for testing and nursing licensure fees.

The Northern Arizona Council of Governments (NACOG) provided financial assistance for her testing and licensure fees through its Dislocated Worker funding.
Outcomes & Benefits
Banissia was able to receive her Registered Nursing (RN) license in February 2010. She obtained employment as a Registered Nurse and is making $30.00 per hour.
