Meet Christopher

Workforce Challenge

After working in physically demanding construction jobs, Christopher decided he was ready for a change and a more stable
career.

Workforce Solution

Christopher enrolled in Preparation for Advanced Career Employment Systems (PACES) in January 2009 for help completing his A&P license and Associates Degree. PACES helped Christopher with the costs of training and fuel assistance to and from Salina where he attended classes five days per week.

Outcomes & Benefits

Christopher graduated in May 2011 and secured an A&P position with an airline company staring at $20 per hour. Christopher expressed great gratitude for the services he received through PACES to help him obtain a stable, less physically demanding career that he enjoys.
