Meet Bradford

Workforce Challenge

Bradford was laid off from his aviation employer after 5 years. He had a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics from 2000. The challenge was the influx of laid off aircraft workers in South Central Kansas in 2011.

Workforce Solution

Funding the cost of training so Bradford could complete his Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering at WSU.

Outcomes & Benefits

After Bradford completed training and earned his Bachelor of Science Mechanical Engineering degree,Bradford obtained employment as a Mechanical Engineer earning more money than he was making prior to being laid off from his aircraft position.
