Workforce Challenge

Anthony had been laid off from the Aircraft industry for more than a year. He worried that his age and inability to speak perfect English would be a barrier to finding employment. Heightening his worries, was the fact that he was the sole financial provider for his family.

Workforce Solution

Because his job was affected by trade he qualified for the TAA program. By visiting the Workforce Center Anthony was able to get assistance from a TAA case manager reworking his resume and discussing additional job search methods.

Outcomes & Benefits

Within a month of being assisted by his Case Manager, Anthony obtained employment. The employer was pleased to have someone as experienced as Anthony join the team. And Anthony celebrated the opportunity to provide for his family.
