Meet Nina

Workforce Challenge

Nina was laid off from a local aircraft company in 2010. She enrolled in the TAA progam in 2011.

Workforce Solution

Nina was interested in changing her career field and was seeking training in the health care field. She decided she would like to pursue the Medical Assistant training program.

Outcomes & Benefits

Nina graduated from the program in 2013. A month later she was employed by one of the leading hospitals in the area. Nina qualifies for a wage subsidy benefit to assist with the financial gap between her trade impacted employer and her current job. She is enjoying her new career and looks forward to advancement opportunities with the organization.
