Meet Jaime

Workforce Challenge

Jaime Walther graduated in 2008 with her AA degree. She faced challenges with obtaining employment due to re-entering the workforce after being out for several years due to a disability. She had to make a career change from nursing to business after receiving a kidney transplant. This barrier was making it difficult to obtain employment.

Workforce Solution

The workforce board (SWN) provided case management services, job search workshops, and resume revision services that enhanced and helped focus Jaime's job search.

Outcomes & Benefits

Jaime was hired with Susquehanna Workforce Network as the Customer Service Associate, in a position where she now helps other job seekers find jobs. She has received the Harford County Commission on Disabilities Employment Merit Award. Jaime enjoys working with her customers and for such a great organization. She did not know where to start and SWN helped guide her through the job search process. She attributes all her success to Dee and the staff at the Aberdeen Workforce Center.
