Workforce Challenge

Mr. Zuromski was employed with RG Steel as a Crane Operator from 3/14/09-6/22/12. Shortly after his layoff, he visited the Eastpoint Workforce Development Center to take advantage of the TAA program.

Workforce Solution

After exploring his employment interests and the current labor market, he decided to take advantage of the Industrial Maintenance program at North American Trade School. Mr. Zuromski started his training on August 15, 2013. Since then, he’s received an award for perfect attendance while maintaining a 4.0 GPA. His performance, hard work, and positive attitude were acknowledged in a recommendation letter by his instructor.

Outcomes & Benefits

Mr. Zuromski is scheduled to graduate in November 2014. The partnership between the customer and the Eastpoint Workforce Development center made it very easy for his successful achievement. His case manager is confident that his eagerness and positive outlook will attract employers and assist with his future successes.
