Workforce Challenge

Ms. Molock was unemployed; she had previously worked on a contractual basis with the Veterans Administration.

Workforce Solution

Coming to the career center, Ms. Molock met with a job specialist where she was provided many services. The job specialist initially provided services to Ms. Molock on 04/29/14, at the Lansdowne branch of the Baltimore County Public Library on the Mobile Career Center (MCC). He critiqued Ms. Molock’s résumé and suggested that revisions be made to the document. He also recommended for the résumé to be abridged from three to two pages. The job specialist developed a revised two page document for Ms. Molock and posted the revised résumé in Ms. Molock’s MWE account. He also created a cover letter for Ms. Molock to utilize for her job search. Additionally, he sent Ms. Molock numerous private and public sector position postings.
