"I come from a background of dysfunction and poor choices. I have also made quite a criminal background for myself. I am now almost 23 and I have a seven month-old daughter. I have been trying to grow up and change my life, and [I've been] seeking a chance for a new start. I wanted to build a positive employment record, to be a positive member of society and provide for my family."
